We are going down to the Otara pools at the moment to learn how to swim like professionals. Here are some of the photos of us in action! We love swimming!!
Today we made butter as we are studying about Changes! We used cream, jars, and muscle power to shake the jars.
We are so lucky at East Tamaki School we had the Police turn up to have a game of Soccer against us kids. Yes it was a close contested match, and it was great fun.Here is a video of our match.

In Art at the moment we are learning how to complete a tukutuku pattern.
Last week we had Bevis from the Otara Library come to visit us. Puna won the questions from Bevis competition. He got 19 stamps!! Well done Puna!
Today we made Gooblek. You need water, cornflour, cup,and a bowl. Firstly we mixed the ingredients into a bowl and observed what happened. We saw the gooblek change its state from a liquid into a solid. When we roll the gooblek it becomes solid in your hand becoming a big ball. Then when we opened up our hands and didn't rub the gooblek it become a liquid, and it felt gooey. By Charlotte
